diorama- n.  A scenic representation in 3-D in which sculptured figures and lifelike details are displayed usually in miniature so as to blend indistinguishable from its background.

• You may use any kind of artistic medium to create your diorama
• Be creative and colorful
• Your idea has to be original
• You must do your own work

Write a "literary critique" essay about the book we are reading in class.

• They essay has to have a minimum of 4  paragraphs
      a.    Introduction
      b.    Body #1 - give information from a real professional article that gives a published
             critique of the book Dracula
      c.    Body #2 - Give your own opinion of the book (like a movie review does
      d.    Conclusion

Draw a picture of your favorite scene from the book we are reading in class.

• Your drawing must be your own work (don't get a friend to do it for you!)
• Be creative or colorful (or not)
• You may use any artistic medium to complete your drawing

Create a "Character Mobile"

A mobile is a device that hangs from the ceiling and has objects hanging from it.  You will create a mobile for all the characters listed below:

Jonathan Harker            Dr. Van Helsing
Mina Harker                  Dr. John Seward
Lucy Westenra              Dracula
Arthur Holmwood          Renfield

• For each character create something/picture that will represent each one
• Hang each representation from the mobile
• Write a short biography of who the character is and what part they played in the book\

• Summarize all the events in the chapter
• Include a concluding paragraph where you explain if you liked the book or not
