Class Policies

1.    All work is to be turned-in on the day it is due for full credit.
2.    Late work is accepted two days after a due date;  you will receive half the points for being late; if you don't turn it in at all, you will get a zero.
3.    Make-up work will be given for EXCUSED absences only.
4.    You have 3 days to bring and EXCUSE for an absence, after which you will
NOT be allowed to make up work, and zero's will be added to your grade.
5.    I will not ask you to turn in your work.  When you are absent it is your
responsibility to make up your work.  However, I will remind you when
       progress reports are being issued.
6.    Projects will be worth no less than 3 grades (2 daily and 1 test)
7.    Bathroom breaks are allowed until you take advantage of my trust!
8.    Skipping class will warrant loss of all privileges, assignment to ISS, and
zero's for work that is not completed in class.
9.    Tardy and absence policy will be strictly observed in this class.  You must
       sign-in when you are late.
10.  There is no required assigned seating by the teacher; however, a seating      chart is created and you will be required to sit in the same chair that YOU have selected.
11.  I do not CREATE new extra credit for individual students because they are
       failing.
12.  Extra credit assignments are pre-assigned by the teacher periodically.
13.  I DO NOT change grades for anyone to compensate for the "No pass, no
      play" UIL policies.
14.  Cheating of any kind will NOT be tolerated.
15.  Excused absences will be required by any student who is absent on the day
      a major assignment is due.
16.  Please ask permission to leave class for any reason.
17.  Always take the pass with you when you exit my room.
18.  Stay in your seats until the bell rings.
19.  Participate actively with all assignments in this class.
