Collect as many
Vocabulary Words from the novel you are reading as possible. All the
words must be words you DO NOT understand. I prefer SAT level words. The following are the rules or instructions for the project:
1. Write the word down. Bold it and italicize it.
2. Write the sentence where the word appears in the novel.
Use appropriate punctuation.
3. Underline or bold the word in the sentence too.
4. Include the chapter and the page number too.
6. Number each vocabulary consecutively.
IF you put only the words and
definitions without sentences, you will get a "50" as a grade since you did
only 1/2 the work!!
*** You should put the
information in the correct order. DO NOT put all the words on one page,
all the sentences on another, and all the sentences on another. The sentences should follow the words as
you see in the example below:

Chapter 1
Pg 48 1.
Assuage- To make less intense or severe.
"No amount of persuasion could assuage my brothers
propensity to play football!"
